The Serviced Apartments Summit Europe – SASEU – is taking place this July 1st and 2nd at Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, in London.

This summit focuses on the serviced apartments, extended stay / aparthotels and short term rentals concepts in the hospitality industry, and it gathers CEOs and senior executives to discuss the sector’s best practices and latest trends. Hosted annually since 2013, and organized by International Hospitality Media – IHM –  the conference attracts world-renowned delegates and speakers from as far afield as Australia, Singapore, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, the Americas, India and across Europe.

For its 7th edition, SASEU has moved to a larger venue, “reflecting the rapid growth of the serviced apartment and extended stay sector in the UK, Europe and beyond.” says Piers Brown, IHM CEO.

The highlight of this year’s event will focus on the Co-Working and Co-Living concepts. Jonathan Humphries, Chairman of HoCoSo, will host a panel discussion around this topic. Joined by Paul Rands, Vice President of International Development for BridgeStreet, Daniel Jung, General Manager of QUARTERS Co-Living for UK and Ireland, and Vice President of Expansion for the EMEA region, Thomas Lamson, Chief Development and Project Officer of Aparthotels Adagio, and Volker Thamm, Head of Development of SV Hotel. Our panelists will tackle the rise of mixed-use co-working and co-living developments, the trending matter of work, rest and play at the same time. What role do serviced apartments and extended stay play in mixed-use development? A focus on the mixed use ‘stack’ and diversification of yield, and the various roles of operators, owners, property managers and multi-family units.
