Marriott Opens First Residence Inn Extended Stay Hotel in Europe
Residence Inn is the Company’s Fourth Brand to Expand in to Europe this Year
Marriott International’s third largest lodging brand, Residence Inn by Marriott, today celebrates the opening of its first property in Europe, the 125-room Residence Inn Munich City East. The Residence Inn Munich City East opens alongside the new 227-room Courtyard by Marriott Munich City East under a franchise agreement with SV Group. Residence Inn by Marriott, the pioneer in the extended-stay hotel segment, has more than 600 properties globally.
The Residence Inn Munich City East and Courtyard by Marriott Munich City East are located in Munich’s fashionable Haidhausen district. The Residence Inn Munich City East boasts 125 stylish and spacious studio suites designed by acclaimed interior designer Claudio Carbone. Each studio offers a fully-equipped kitchen and expansive living, dining and working zones, designed for stays of five days or more. Special amenities include complimentary continental breakfast, grocery shopping, 24/7 marketplace and bar in the public area ideal for socializing.
The 227-room Courtyard by Marriott Munich City East, connected to the Residence InnMunich City East, offers travelers flexible spaces, smart design, and great in-room amenities including deluxe bedding and flat screen televisions. Throughout the hotel, from the lobby area to the guestrooms, Courtyard allows guests more control and choice over their stay, allowing them to stay productive with services and amenities that create a healthy balance between business and leisure, including an inviting lobby space, a market for grab-and-go salads and sandwiches, as well as an all-day dining restaurant, Max Bar & Lounge.
The property also features a fitness centre with spa and sauna, spacious meeting facilities, and business centre.
